First Visit & Booking

Can I walk in without an appointment?

Yes, walk-ins are welcome. However, because we take time to provide thorough care, scheduled patients are seen first.

Booking ahead through KakaoTalk or Naver helps you skip the wait. We recommend it especially for evenings and weekends, which tend to be busier.

Yes, we’re open Saturdays, Sundays, and Korean public holidays.

Weekday hours are 10 AM to 9 PM, Saturday and Sunday hours are 10 AM to 2 PM, and holiday hours are 10 AM to 6 PM. Last registration is one hour before closing.

If you can’t take time off during weekdays, you can still get treatment with us.

For TRICARE Dental Program patients, we can verify your enrollment with the sponsor’s SSN (Social Security Number) or DBN (Dental Benefit Number), along with the patient’s full name and date of birth — no military ID required.

Please let us know about any medications you’re taking or medical conditions (high blood pressure, diabetes, osteoporosis, etc.) — these are important for safe dental care.

First visits typically take a bit longer for examination and consultation, so please allow about 30 minutes of extra time.

Yes, we treat children as well.

365 E-LOOK Dental focuses on general dentistry. We mainly see children aged 5 and older who can cooperate during treatment. For very young children, very anxious children, or those needing extensive pediatric work, we’ll refer you to a nearby pediatric specialist when appropriate.

Treatments

Are dental treatments here similar to those in the U.S.?

Yes — modern Korean dentistry uses the same materials, techniques, and standards you’d find in the U.S. or other developed countries.

Our directors are members of major Korean dental associations and have completed training programs at institutions including Harvard School of Dental Medicine, University of Pennsylvania, and Seoul National University. We use FDA-approved materials and equipment from manufacturers like Dentsply Sirona.

Many U.S. military families find dental care in Korea to be of excellent quality, often at lower cost than back home.

We take pain management seriously — pain shouldn’t be part of getting good dental care.

Before any injection, we apply a topical anesthetic (gel or rinse) to numb the surface tissue first. This makes the actual injection significantly less noticeable.

For the injection itself, we use a computerized low-speed anesthesia system. Most injection pain comes from the rapid pressure of fluid entering tissue — our system delivers anesthetic at a slow, steady rate, so the “pinch” is minimal. This is especially helpful for patients with dental anxiety.

If you experience any discomfort during treatment, just let us know and we’ll adjust right away.

Yes — we’re open 365 days a year, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

For dental emergencies (severe pain, broken tooth, knocked-out tooth, infection, or post-surgical concerns), please call us at 031-8029-6622 or message us on KakaoTalk or Naver Chat so we can prepare for your arrival.

If you’re a TRICARE Dental Program member, emergency dental services are also covered. Bring your information when you visit.

Typically 4 to 6 visits over 3 to 6 months.

After tooth extraction (or directly, if you have enough bone), the implant fixture is placed in the jaw. We then wait 3 to 6 months for the bone and implant to fuse together (osseointegration). Once healed, we take impressions and attach the final crown.

Some patients may need bone grafts, sinus lifts, or other preparatory procedures, which extend the timeline. We’ll discuss your specific treatment plan and expected schedule during your first consultation.

TRICARE & Insurance

Do you accept TRICARE Dental Program?

Yes — 365 E-LOOK Dental is a TRICARE Dental Program (TDP) accepting clinic.

We’re one of the English-speaking, TDP-accepting dental clinics conveniently located between Osan Air Base and Camp Humphreys. We accept claims directly and handle the paperwork on your behalf.

The TRICARE Dental Program covers eligible family members (dependents) of:

· Active-duty service members
· National Guard and Reserve members
· Eligible survivors

Active-duty sponsors themselves use Active Duty Dental Program (ADDP) — which works differently and typically requires care at military installations or referrals.

If you’re unsure of your coverage, bring your TRICARE documents and we’ll verify eligibility for you.

Active-duty sponsors are not covered under TDP — instead, they’re enrolled in the Active Duty Dental Program (ADDP), which is administered separately.

Sponsors who choose to receive care at 365 E-LOOK Dental can do so as self-pay patients. Some sponsors choose this option because they want to be treated at the same clinic as their family, or because they prefer a Korean-based dentist over the on-base clinic. We’ll provide a clear cost estimate before any treatment.

For TDP-covered services: most procedures have a small co-pay or coinsurance, depending on the service. We’ll explain your specific cost share before treatment begins — no surprises.

For uncovered services or self-pay patients: payment is due at the time of service. We accept major credit cards and offer interest-free installment options for larger treatments.

We always provide a detailed cost estimate before any procedure, so you can make informed decisions.

Practical Info

Where do I park? Is parking truck-friendly?

Yes — and yes, we have spacious truck-friendly parking.

Free underground parking is available in the Hareum Signiel building (B1), located right across from our clinic at 51 Godeokyeoyeom 9-gil. It’s about a 1-minute walk to our elevator.

Most underground parking lots in Korea are too tight for full-size U.S. pickup trucks. Ours comfortably accommodates F-150s, Silverados, Tundras, and similar vehicles — no scraped bumpers or stuck side mirrors. Parking is free for all patients.

Yes — our team provides full English consultations from start to finish.

This includes initial examination, treatment explanation, post-operative care instructions, and any administrative paperwork. You won’t need a translator or feel lost during your visit.

We’ve been serving U.S. military families since the clinic opened, and we understand the unique needs of life as a military dependent overseas.

· From Osan Air Base: 6 km (3.7 miles), about 10 minutes by car
· From Camp Humphreys: 13 km (8.1 miles), about 20 minutes by car

We’re located in Pyeongtaek Godeok International New City, conveniently positioned between both bases. Detailed directions are available on our Location & Hours page.
